Investigate the work of the Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson with activities that focus on the elements of nature. Create wearable art that plays with light, learn about optical illusions, and more!

Jan Greenberg, the author of many distinctive art books including "Chuck Close: Up Close" , "Frank Gehry: Outside In", and "Action Jackson", gives a talk and book signing on her new book: "Side by Side: New Poetry Inspired by Art from Around the World." This is an extraordinary poetry collection that pairs artists from 33 countries with poets to create a kaleidoscope of voices and visions. Presented in four sections—Stories, Voices, Expressions, and Impressions—Side by Sidepresents the original poem in the poet's native language, with the English translation, alongside the artist's work. It is an illuminating way to discover art and poetry that helps to foster an understanding of different cultures and people.
